Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American singer, actress and writer. She was raised by her mother within the USA. She was subjected to racial insults, she was being made to feel unwelcome. When she attended a 9th grade school audition where she received high praise for her voice, she started to build confidence. The experience not only increased her confidence, but it altered the direction she pursued in her professional career. At the age of 22, she received her degree from in the Julliard School of New York. In 1993, she had her Broadway debut in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Her first film was titled You've got Mail. Her greatest break came in her performance as The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway version of Spamalot. The show won her the Tony Award and received great appreciation for her role. She gained more recognition by appearing on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. She is also a known singer and has released an extended play. In addition, she's an activist who is active to promote LGBT rights.
