Her first job was with Fox News Channel, as reporter on general assignment in the year 2005. After a couple of years, she was promoted to anchor for Fox Report Weekend. Julie Banderas reported several key events in her career like the hurricane Dennis. Her disappearance as US Student Natalee Hooley, and Terri Schiavo's case in court. She received the Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award in the coverage of her coverage of the Republican National Convention. Journalists like her has a voice.
